GUID Generator
A fresh GUID (UUID), random or time-ordered, in the format you need; paste one to read it.
Type a range to see its addresses and mask bit by bit, how it splits, how your subnets fit in it, and whether another range overlaps it. It's all worked out here in your browser; nothing is sent.

That's not an IPv4 or IPv6 range: try 10.20.0.0/16 or 2001:db8::/48.
| # | Subnet | Usable | Hosts |

Each one's name and the hosts it needs: it gets the smallest block that fits, the biggest placed first so nothing is lost to alignment.
| Name | Subnet | Usable | Room |

An address or a range: is it inside, does it overlap? (A peering, a VPN, another VNet.)
Usable hosts depend on where the subnet lives. On any network the first address (the network) and the last (the broadcast) are kept; Azure and AWS keep the first four and the last, Google Cloud the first two and the last two. Azure and Google Cloud take subnets down to a /29, AWS from a /16 to a /28.
