Chess
The whole game with a clock, against the computer or a friend you send a link to.
- Vs. computer
- With a friend
Roll round a life's map of Istanbul, New York and South Florida, buy the places you land on, build houses and collect the rent. Play the computer, or send friends a link.

Be the last player still in, or the richest when the game’s rounds run out (your cash, your places and your houses at their worth).
The players. A disc in each player’s color with their number, as in the list beside the board, where your row says You. Whoever is playing grows a little.
A place and its group. The color band says which group it is in. Nobody owns these two yet.
Owned. A line along the outer edge in the owner’s color: here players 1, 2 and 4.
Houses and a hotel. Dark squares on the band are houses (here 1 and 4); a dark bar is a hotel.
Mortgaged. Dimmed: it collects no rent until it is paid back.
Roll the two dice and move. Passing Start pays you $200. Land on a place, a transport or a utility nobody owns and you may buy it at its price; if you don’t, it stays for sale. Land on one somebody owns and you pay them its rent. Doubles roll again; three doubles in a row send you to the Bosphorus Bridge.
A place’s rent is on its card: double when its owner has the whole group of its color and no houses on it, more with each house and most with a hotel. A transport’s rent grows with how many transports its owner has. A utility’s is four times the roll, or ten times when its owner has both. A mortgaged place collects nothing.
With the whole group of a color, build houses on it from its card on your turn, evenly: one house on each before a second on any. After four houses comes a hotel. Houses sell back to the bank at half what they cost.
Mortgage a place with no houses on its group for half its price; pay it back with ten percent more to collect its rent again.
Stuck in traffic, or a card, sends you to the Bosphorus Bridge, where the traffic stands still. On each of your turns there, roll for doubles to get off it, pay $50, or use a card that gets you off. After a third miss you pay the $50 and move.
Neighbors and Surprise squares draw a card: money from the bank or to it, a trip round the board, a gift from the other players or one to them. Income tax and the HOA fee are paid to the bank.
A bill bigger than your cash sells your houses and mortgages your places on its own, cheapest first. If that still isn’t enough you are out, and everything you have goes to whoever you owed.
The Amber button is your next step: Roll, Buy, End turn. Tap any square to see its card; on your turn your places’ cards let you build, sell a house, mortgage or pay a mortgage back. Players and Length set the next game.
A game against the computer is kept in this browser and comes back as it was. A friends’ game goes through a small server that rolls the dice and plays the empty seats; it forgets the game a day after the last move.
