How to play

Mark the numbers as they are called and be the first to claim each prize your card makes. Three prizes are played for in order; whoever takes the last one wins, and the game ends there.

The draw

The numbers come out of the bag one at a time, the same draw for everyone at the table: the ball shows the number just called, the last few sit beside it, and the board lights every number called. Game picks Tombala or Bingo, before the first number or once a game is over. Speed sets the time between numbers: Slow 7 seconds, Normal 4.5, Fast 2.5.

Tombala

Ninety numbers. Your card has three rows of nine columns, five numbers in each row and fifteen in all: the first column holds 1 to 9, the next 10 to 19, and so on to 80 to 90 in the last, rising down each column. The prizes, in order: one line (a whole row), two lines (two rows of your card) and the full card.

Bingo

Seventy-five numbers. Your card is five by five under B I N G O, in no order: B holds 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60 and O 61 to 75, and the middle square is free (it counts as called from the start). The prizes, in order: a line (a row, a column or a diagonal), the four corners and blackout (the whole card).

Claiming

Once the numbers you have marked make the prize being played for, the claim button lights up (One line!, Two lines!, Tombala! or Bingo!) and the first to claim wins the prize; play moves on to the next one. Computer players take about 1 to 3 seconds to notice theirs. One card can win more than one prize. If the bag runs out before the last prize, the game ends there.

With friends

Pick Friends, then Copy link and send it: up to eight people play at one table, with 0 to 5 computer players. The player who made the table sets Game, Speed and Computer players, starts the draw and starts the next game with Play again; if they leave, another player at the table takes over. Everyone can take a New card before the start. Someone who opens the link mid-game watches until the next one.

Controls

Tap or click a called number on your card to mark it, and again to take the mark off; a number not called yet won’t take one. Mark: For me marks your numbers and claims for you. Against the computer, pick Computer players (1 to 5), take a New card if you like, then Start; Pause stops the draw, and it pauses by itself when you switch away from the page.

Against the computer, this browser keeps only the game you picked (Tombala or Bingo), so a refresh starts a new game. A friends’ game goes through a small server that draws the numbers for everyone and checks every claim; this browser keeps your seat and your marks, so the link brings you back to them, and the server forgets the game a day after the last number.
