Food Hell

A dumbbell in hand, clear the Diner, the Food Court, the Pastry Shop, the Ice Cream Parlor, the Pizzeria and the Burger Joint of their junk food, down to the Big Burger. Throw, pick your weights up where they land, eat your greens for energy and find the walls that open. Alone at three levels, or with a friend on a link.

Floors

How to play

Clear each floor’s junk food and take the stairs down; on the sixth floor, beat the Big Burger and take the stairs out.

Moving

W S or ↑ ↓ walk, A D step sideways, ← → turn. Click the view to look round with the mouse (Esc lets it go and pauses). On a touch screen, the stick under the view walks and a drag on the view turns.

Throwing

Space or a click throws the weight in your hand; on a touch screen, Throw (or a tap on the view). 1 2 3 (or a weight under the view) pick the dumbbell, the kettlebell or the medicine ball. A weight lands where it stops: walk over it to pick it up again.

The weights

The dumbbell is quick, the kettlebell slow and heavy (it knocks the junk food back), the medicine ball bounces off two walls and hits all round where it lands. More of each lie about the floors.

Energy and shape

Energy is your life: broccoli, a banana and watermelon bring it back. Shape takes half of each hit until it runs out: yogurt and almonds build it. The junk food bites up close, and the pizza, the ice cream and the flan throw.

Doors and secrets

E (or walking into it) opens a door. Some walls look like the rest and open with E: each floor has two or three, with something good behind. The green door with the stairs on it takes you down.

Floors and levels

Six floors, each one open once you’ve cleared the one before; pick any open floor in Floors between games. What you carry goes down the stairs with you. From Easy to Hard the junk food hits harder, takes more and moves faster.

With a friend

Pick With a friend in Players and send the link (Copy link). The one who made the game picks the floor and the difficulty; the two of you clear it together, on the same junk food, each with your own energy and weights. Out of energy, you’re back at the start in a moment. Either of you can start and pause; Leave the game ends it for both of you.

Controls

W A S D and the arrows move, the mouse looks, Space or a click throws, 1 2 3 pick a weight, E opens. P or Esc pauses, R starts the floor again, Enter plays. The speaker turns the sound on or off.

Your difficulty, the floors you’ve opened, your best time on each, the floor you’re on and what you had at its start are kept in this browser; a floor in play isn’t, so a refresh starts it again. A game with a friend goes through a small server that passes where each of you is, what you throw and what the junk food does, keeping none of it; it forgets the room a day after the last game, or as soon as one of you leaves.
