The payment, the interest, when it's paid off and what it really costs, for a personal loan, a car, a home or a loan shark's, monthly, weekly or daily.
A loan type only sets where the page starts; every setting stays yours, and what doesn’t apply to the loan is greyed out with why.
Installments are an even payment that clears the loan over its term; interest only pays the interest and leaves the debt. Interest in advance is cut before the money is handed over, each payment paying the next period’s.
Per period, a month’s interest is a twelfth of a year’s and a week’s a 52nd; per actual day, it counts the days between two payments, so a 31-day month costs more than February and a leap day is charged.
A payment goes to what’s owed apart first, then the home’s costs, then the interest, then the debt. Type what was really paid in the payments to see a missed one’s penalty.
The real rate is what the loan costs on what was handed over, the interest cut and the fees taken off. Every amount is rounded to the cent, as a lender does.
The settings and the extra payments stay in the page’s address, so a bookmark keeps them; the payments you type are kept nowhere. The arithmetic of a loan, not an offer.
