Thirty-two pegs and one empty hole in the middle. Jump a peg over its neighbour into a hole, take the one you jumped, and finish with a single peg, in the middle if you can.
Take pegs by jumping over them until only one is left; on the English board, the best finish is that one peg in the middle hole.
Jump a peg over the peg next to it into an empty hole right behind it, along a line of holes (across or down; on the Triangle, along any of its three lines). The peg you jumped over is taken off. Jumps are the only moves.
The game ends when no jump is left. One peg left solves it; on the English board, one peg in the middle is perfect. Your best on each board is kept.
English: the cross of 33 holes, the middle one empty to start. European: 37 holes, the cross with its inner corners filled; it starts with the hole at the top of the left arm empty, as the middle can’t be solved there. Triangle: 15 holes, the top one empty. Board changes at once before your first jump or once a game is over; during a game it is for the next one.
Tap a peg that can jump to pick it, then tap where it lands, or drag it there. With Hints on, a dashed ring shows each hole the picked peg can land in, and a red ring the peg it would take. Undo takes jumps back one at a time, even after the end. The round arrow starts again.
The game in progress and your best on each board are kept in this browser, and come back as they were.
